The publishing house Parkko publishes translated poetry from around the world. It focuses on modern classics and contemporary poetry. To date, it has published 20 translated books. The publishing house aims to introduce poetry that is little known in Finland. The latest book is Sanan halu, halun sana (The Desire for Words, the Word of Desire) by Argentine author Alejandra Pizarnik (translated into Finnish by Emmi Ketonen).
