Submissions for next year’s World Village Festival programme are now open. A price list and a preliminary site map have been published for exhibitors and other stakeholders. You are welcome to attend the networking and brainstorming sessions in November.
World Village Festival is a major sustainable development event, a forum for discussion on global issues and a cultural festival for the whole family. You can take part in the event, for example, as an exhibitor, food vendor, craft seller, programme producer, partner, advertiser or volunteer. You will find plenty of further information on the festival website about the various ways to get involved.
We are seeking programme proposals for the festival in line with the UTOPIA theme
Open Call! offers CSOs and civil society actors the opportunity to raise awareness of their work and reach new audiences through the programme. We are particularly keen to receive bold and impactful proposals that inspire the public to act for a fairer world: discussions and talks, workshops, films, as well as cultural programme and performances.
All programme calls are now open. Applications for talks and discussions can be submitted until 1 December. The call for cultural programme proposals is open until 16 January 2027, and the call for workshop proposals until 16 February 2027.
Preliminary festival site map and price list published
Next year we will be returning to the Suvilahti area. We have now published a lot of information to support stakeholders’ planning. The call for exhibitors is open from 16 November to 16 February 2027. The Early Bird offer for exhibition spaces is valid until 16 December.
Networking and brainstorming afternoon for stakeholders: Monday 16 November, 3.00–5.30 pm
Come along to hear about the plans for the upcoming festival, to network and to brainstorm your own participation with the festival team and other organisers. The event is open to all festival stakeholders looking for feedback, opportunities for collaboration and ideas to develop their involvement, as well as to organisations joining us for the first time.
