Arti Sudhindra from Saksham Performing Arts group will lead a children’s dance workshop where participants can move around and experiment with different rhythms. Children will be divided into two groups so the content can be better adapted to each age group’s level.
The workshop will be conducted primarily in English. However, since it relies on movement and visual cues, no separate interpretation is needed. Children will practice coordination, creativity, and the joy of movement through playful dance exercises.
The age groups are recommendations, but a child may also participate in a different group if the parents feel it is appropriate. The workshop includes a warm-up, fun dance exercises, and a cool-down.
The event will take place in the Kids’ Corner at LillaLuckan, located on the second floor of Luckan at Yrjönkatu 27.
Saturday: Ages 3–6
Sunday: 7-14
