Once again at World Village Festival, between the live shows on the Music Stage, you can dive into a global journey of rhythm as Funky Amigos DJs and their special guests take over the terrace of La Torrefazione.
Expect a danceable selection where afro and latin rhythms, funk, reggae, and SWANA-inspired sounds (Southwest Asia & North Africa) – from dabke to chaabi – meet global club sounds, with each DJ bringing their own distinct style and strong personal touch.
At the core is the diversity of rhythm music and cultures – expect anything from deep grooves to surprising global sounds, as long as it has soul and that irresistible kick!
Next to the DJ area you’ll also find the Funky Amigos meeting point, where you can learn more about our activities, events, and how to get involved or support our work promoting diverse rhythm music cultures in Finland – or just come and say hi!
The Funky Amigos Terrace Party takes place on the terrace of La Torrefazione on Lasipalatsi Square. The terrace party is in full swing whenever there’s a break in the performances at the nearby Music Stage.
