This nonstop workshop, open to everyone regardless of age, invites festival visitors to explore Kontula from the perspectives of diversity and community through various interactive stations.
Participants can take part in creating a multicultural story map, brainstorm ideas for the future of the Kontula shopping centre as an open and free urban space for everyone or share their thoughts and experiences of boundless neighbourliness.
The workshop is be led by Sinivuokko Koivula and Anni Hapuoja from Kontula Cultural Mall project team in Finnish and English, but stories and ideas can be shared in any language.
The workshops are held at the festival’s Workshop Area Luckan, Yrjönkatu 27. The Workshop Area is located at street level, on the left after the entrance and Luckan’s central plaza. Space is limited.
