Hieno Hilma`s idea is to give a new purpose even to a small part of books that are no longer needed. Old books end up more and more often as waste or in paper collectioncontainers. Almost 1.5 million books are donated to the recycling center in the capital region alone each year.
The coasters, magnets and earrings are made from pages of recycled picture books and finnish high-quality birch plywood, which is produced according to regulations that support sustainable development. All Hieno Hilma products are handmade in Finland.
