Delado International invites families to come together for an inclusive concert and workshop. On this musical journey, participants can learn about the origins of music, as well as movement and rhythm through Burkinabe balafon and ngoni, the djembe, the dundun, the Peruvian cajón, and the pan flute. Participants will explore how Latin American and African cultures have arrived in Finland and created a unique fusion that fundamentally reflects our surrounding society, and how these cultures blend into today’s music and lyrics in Finland. The programme is supported by Svenska Kulturfonden.
Languages spoken in the programme include Finnish, Swedish, Djula, and Spanish.

The event will take place in the Kids’ Corner at LillaLuckan, located on the second floor of Luckan at Yrjönkatu 27.
