The programme at the Finn Church Aid stand will feature thought-provoking discussions about the never-give-up mentality in the global context. The programme will be in Finnish or English.
Saturday
12.15–12.45 South Sudan from the communicator perspective: journey to school through dangerous peatland and other exciting stories. Kiden Viola & Björn Udd. Suitable in particular for those interested in international aid work and communication, in English.
14.30–15.00 Changemaker 20 years
20 years of advocacy and societal influence with a never-give-up mentality. Suitable in particular for youth and young adults, in Finnish.
18.45–19.15 Saving the world one person at a time or by changing structures? Jussi Ojala. Suitable for everyone interested in changing the world, in Finnish.
Sunday
12.30–13.00 Women’s Bank. Every woman has the right to her own work and income. Discussion about the status of women and the impact of work on women’s lives. Suitable in particular for those interested in women’s rights, in Finnish.
14.45–15.15 Teachers without Borders. Global education, volunteers and larger-than-life experiences. Volunteering in an international teaching environment. Suitable in particular for those working in education and interested in global education, in Finnish.
The Finn Church Aid stand will be located in the middle of the festival site in the large tents section. The space number will be published in May.
