FinFami is a social and health organization that promotes the well-being of people who close to someone with mental illness.
FinFami operates nationwide, it consists of the central organization and 13 local FinFami-associations. From FinFami, people who are close to someone with mental illness receive information and counseling as well as support for their own coping.
FinFami central organization does national influence work and communication. The local FinFami-associations offer people who are close to someone with mental illness for example discussion and peer support as well as lectures and courses. Support is also available in Swedish and English.
FinFami-associations across Finland have versatile volunteer tasks.
