FRC Kontti-secondhand is a chain of 12 secondhand stores and webshop. Our role in Finnish Red Cross is fundraising by selling donated items in our stores.
Kontti-stores are secondhand department stores operated by the Finnish Red Cross.? Finnish Red Cross has a webshop (sprkontti.fi) and twelve Kontti secondhand stores around Finland: Espoo, Helsinki, Joensuu, Kuopio, Lahti, Lappeenranta, Oulu, Pori, Rovaniemi, Tampere, Turku and Vantaa.?
Our role in Finnish Red Cross isfundraising by selling donated items in our stores.? ?Kontti secondhand chain sells donated items in good condition. Product selection includes: clothing, accessories and shoes, tableware, household items and textiles?, books, gift items and paintings?, toys and children’s products?, sports equipment? and furniture (in some stores).
Average size of Kontti shop area is 900 m2. We want that our customer experience is inspirational and fun. ?Turnover (the whole chain) in 2023was 21 milj. euros and we sold 4,3 milj items.
