“Momo House: A Culinary Adventure from Nepal to Finland”

“Meet the heart and soul behind Momo House — a group of 8 friends, now co-founders, bound by a decade-long friendship forged in the beautiful landscapes of Finland. United in Helsinki, these friends from different parts of Nepal, initially came together in pursuit of higher education. Their camaraderie grew stronger over shared passions for football and the nostalgic flavors of their homeland. It was this shared love for their culture, especially for MoMos — a staple in Nepali cuisine, that led to the inception of Momo House.

Each co-founder brings a unique aspect of Nepali culinary traditions, making Momo House a melting pot of diverse flavors and recipes. They embarked on a culinary journey to introduce MoMos to Finland, not just as a dish, but as a taste of their heritage and a relish of their shared childhood memories. Their menu is a homage to the street foods of Kathmandu, offering an array of mouth-watering options from succulent Dumplings (Momo) to aromatic Fried Rice and sizzling Chowmein (fried noodles).

At the festival, Momo House is set to create a vibrant and authentic Nepali food experience. Their stall, adorned with colors and warmth, will be more than just a place to savor delicious food. It will be an invitation to immerse in the culture and stories of Nepal. Attendees can look forward to freshly prepared Momos, each a bundle of flavors crafted with love, and other delicacies cooked to perfection. The team at Momo House aims to share more than just food; they aspire to share a piece of Nepal, their stories, and a culinary journey that resonates with every bite.

Join us at this festival for an unforgettable journey to the heart of Nepal, right here in Finland. Momo House is not just about food; it’s about a shared experience, a celebration of heritage, and a testament to the bonds of friendship
