The Mannerheim League for Child Welfare (MLL) Uusimaa district is an NGO and membership is open to everyone. It promotes the wellbeing of children and of families with children. MLL Uusimaa offers versatile opportunities for volunteers to participate. Professionally supported Support person -activity helps families in everydaylife issues and improves integration.
Support person -program includes support person for the family, friend for an immigrant mum, friend family and generation activities. MLL Uusimaa offers the training and support for all the volunteers. In addition, MLL provides multilingual group activities and individual support in Perhehaavi activities and in MLL family houses. MLL Uusimaa warmly welcomes new volunteers to join the activities.
