Kalevi Sorsa Foundation is a social democratic think tank that promotes a just ecological transition. The foundation produces publications, events and speeches for public discussion.
Kalevi Sorsa foundation is a think tank operating on a social-democratic value base. We promote freedom, equality, democracy and respect for the environment. For that, we produce publications and organize events and trainings.
The foundation’s work is based on social change based on our values: we promote freedom, equality, democracy and respect for the environment. In our activities, we fill information and discussion gaps. We highlight social problems and present solutions to them.
We operate between research and decision-making. We offer the foundation’s own and external researchers, experts, decision-makers and other parties a forum to present their research results and well-founded views.
We also cooperate with experts and political think tanks from other countries. We are a member of the European umbrella organization Foundation for European Progressive Studies. We have supported democracy-strengthening work in the Western Balkans since 2008.
