Stories of Peace and Humanity
Storyteller and puppeteer Elviira Davidow and musician Samuel Leminen present stories about peace and humanity, suitable for the whole family. The stories, enlivened by puppetry, shadow theatre and dance, bring nuances from different cultures such as the Caribbean islands, South America and Eastern Europe, where ancient wisdom is heard in the form of an old Romani story.
Founded in November 2024, the Theatre of Peace and Hope creates performances for children and adults on peace and social issues. The main idea of the theatre is to create and nurture the belief that you can always find a way to make a difference in small and big socio-political issues. Everyone should have the opportunity to be seen and heard.
The theatre is part of PAND – Performers and Artists for Nuclear Disarmament, and also offers workshops, exhibitions, lectures and debates.
The performance will take place in the Kids’ Corner workshop tent and is suitable for all ages. The performance is in Finnish.
