
Dabke Dance Workshop
The fun and energetic Dabke dance workshop invites children to learn the basics of dabke, a traditional folk dance from the Levant region of the Middle East. No previous dance experience is necessary – all you need is energy and enthusiasm.
In this workshop you can learn the basic steps of dabke, discover the cultural importance of traditional dance and enjoy music, movement and an engaging group experience.
The workshop will be led by Tareq Abu Nahel, a professional dabke teacher from Palestine with extensive experience in teaching and performing.
The performance will take place on the asphalt area of the Kids’ Corner and is suitable for children of all ages. English and Arabic will be spoken in the dance workshop, but it is possible to participate without knowledge of these languages.
