Signing up as a vendor or an exhibitor has started

Registration is now open for exhibitors and vendors at World Village Festival, which celebrates its 30th anniversary next spring. Factual programme can be proposed until 1 December and other programme until 10 January. The call for partners is also open. Join us for Finland’s largest festival on sustainable development – a joint effort for a better world.

World Village Festival exhibitors, vendors and partners reach thousands of people interested in international issues, NGO activity and ethical consumption. The festival’s main attractions are music programme, food, atmosphere, free admission and sustainable development themes and exhibitors (Visitor Survey 2024 in Finnish).

According to a visitor survey conducted at the last festival, 75 percent of visitors plan to get to know the exhibitor stands and 87 percent plan to buy food, which means almost 40,000 portions. In addition, 62 percent feel that they have learned something new about sustainability and 49 percent say that this information has influenced their own actions, such as their consumption choices or their appreciation of NGOs.

According to the Stakeholder Survey (2024), 83 percent of the participating organisations feel that their participation has raised the profile and positive visibility of their organisation. 77 percent feel that their participation has contributed to their organisation’s objectives.

Table stands to large tents – Open Finland theme tent makes a comeback

The festival offers a wide range of stands for exhibitors: large and small tents, food and bazaar stalls and table spaces in the Market of Opportunities. An interesting return will be made by Open Finland Theme Tent, which will showcase services specifically aimed at new Finns.

The vegetarian food policy started at the last festival will be continued this year. Meaning that all food sold at the festival must be vegetarian and every food vendor must also offer vegan food.

In addition, a wide range of content cooperation and partnerships are possible, for example in the Kids’ Corner, the Street Art Area, and the Bike Park.

Before signing up it is recommended to get to know the exhibitor and vendor space and advertising space price list, the preliminary site map and Terms and Conditions for Participation. Exhibitor registration is open until 27 February 2025 but remember the Early Bird discount for those signing up by 17 December 2024!
