The rapid development of AI challenges us to reflect on its role in our society. Would you trust AI as your secretary? As a babysitter? Deciding who lives or dies?

Arda Awais and Savena Surana, founders of London-based Identity 2.0, discuss how digital dehumanisation reduces people to data and aggravates conflict – and how human creativity can create a better digital future.

In a keynote speech, they will address difficult technological issues such as surveillance, autonomous gun handling and discrimination through first-hand experience and observation, as creative experts.

Identity 2.0 is a creative studio working at the intersection of digital rights, technology and identity.

The programme is in English. The programme can be followed on the festival’s Speaker’s Stage in Tiivistämö or via streaming on the festival’s website. After the programme, the panelists and producers can be met in the Lämpiö next to the Speaker’s Stage.
