African Care – with a joyful attitude in support of women’s rights and well-being!
African Care ry is a non-governmental organisation founded by women who have migrated to Finland. In Finland, we organise group activities and counselling to support the well-being of immigrant women. Our maternity clinic and training project in Somalia enables more than 1000 safe births every year.
In addition, we provide special training on sexual and reproductive health.
African Care is a well-known and courageous change maker in the field of multiculturalism, women’s rights and well-being.
At the World Village Festival, we raise funds to support our work. You can buy handmade Somalian jewellery and different kinds of fabrics at our stall.
