Finnish Psychologists for Social Responsibility

MT560

The Finnish Psychologists for Social Responsibility group consists of a governing body, local chapters and expert members. In addition, there is a project group responsible for an undertaking in Lebanon funded by the Finnish Foreign Ministry. In Lebanon we co-operate and fund local BAS organization to provide family guidance services and special education for Palestinians living in refugee camps. With the Finnish Silti minä nousen association we fund a local teacher working in basic education for women and children. In Finland we co-operate closely with Helsinki Global Clinic to ease access to healthcare for people living in the country without documents. Since our activities are based on co-operation, we are involved with many other associations. To mention one, with the Kide foundation we organize a peer support group for Palestinians living in the Helsinki capital area.
