MONIKA – Multicultural Women’s Association, Finland is an umbrella organisation of multicultural women’s organisations that helps and supports women in different languages. It promotes the equality, non-discrimination and inclusion of women who have moved to Finland from other countries and prevents violence against women. The Central Office is located in Helsinki.
Helping women who have experienced violence
MONIKA develops and provides specialized services for women with an immigrant background and their children who have been subjected to violence. This work is carried out at Crisis Center Monika and Shelter Mona.
Support for integration
MONIKA develops and offers integration support activities that support the social and working life skills of immigrant women, fostering their successful integration into society. This work is carried out at Integration Center Monika.
