Keynote Inna Modja: Women in climate action
Inna Modja, Mali-based musician, filmmaker and UN Goodwill Ambassador, talks about the role of women in the fight against climate change and desertification. How can women’s empowerment help in the fight against climate change and promoting peace?

Modja has produced and starred in The Great Green Wall, a documentary film screened at the 2021 World Village Festival, which highlights Africa’s ambitious efforts to curb desertification in Sahel. She also co-founded Code Green, an organisation that combines art and technology to support social justice.
